Education at the 77th NSDC®
The Education Committee has organized every seminar and class into four clear categories to help dancers quickly find the topics that interest them — and to highlight the full breadth of our education offerings.
Caller Classes
For dancers curious about calling or beginning callers looking to grow. Taught by members of CALLERLAB, with eight dedicated CALLERLAB classes plus additional electives for both club leaders and emerging callers. All Caller Classes count as Electives within the Leadership Certification Program (LCP).
Leadership Classes
Designed for dancers who are — or soon will be — club or association leaders. Topics include Insurance Coordination, Hosting a National Square Dance, Club Leader Toolkit, USDA 501(c)(3), Emergency Planning, and more. These include both Core and Elective LCP classes.
Social Media & Publicity Classes
Focused on modern promotion strategies for square dancing. A mix of Core and Elective LCP offerings.
Potpourri Classes
A collection of unique, unusual, or rarely taught sessions that don’t fit the other categories — but offer fresh, engaging content for all dancers.
